I believe we each have a brain so we can each choose how we want to use it… or not. Zombies are obviously beyond the ability to consciously choose for themselves, so “anti-zombie” is my effort to utilize the brain I have and actually think! Personally, I want to learn and grow as much as possible and encourage others to learn and grow. It makes life much more interesting and fun! Change is the one, and only, constant in our universe. Choosing to remain static not only takes great effort of will and determination (though it may not always seem like it), it also wastes energy that could be put to use bettering your life in general. Sheeple for example (those who would rather follow than risk thinking on their own), spend an awful lot of energy denying they have choices at all and insisting life happens to them. Wouldn’t it make more sense to make your own choices, good or bad, learn from them, and ultimately make life better?

Here are some musings using the brain (deep thoughts) and some musings on not using it at all (stupidity).

Hah, love this. I write about relationships, and had been writing for over a year before turning it into a blog. When I finally did, it was after watching the movie Warm Bodies. As I watched zombies just kinds of shuffling around bumping into things, I thought “holy crap, that’s how most of us live our lives”. We don’t really know what we are doing, we just shuffle around bumping into things trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Thus, was born.

It seemed kinda funny at the time, and in retrospect it’s a terrible name for a blog about life and love. But yours is the first site I’ve seen about learning and growth that also has a zombie reference, and is using it for the same reason I did.
